The Wisconsin Soar Club visiting Quebec City

On September 3rd, about fifteen Spyders and 20 people from the Wisconsin Soar Spyder Club visited the city of Quebec. After determining a meeting point in the suburbs, I had the pleasure to lead the group to show them the beautiful Champlain Boulevard along the St. Lawrence River.

From there, we explored part of the old city, including Place Royale and the famous Petit Champlain Street. Then, we took the funicular to get close to the Chateau Frontenac and its esplanade. At that point, the panoramic view is amazing.

As midday approached, the group took a ride to l’Îles d’OrlĂ©ans. From the historic town, we then moved on to the countryside with its orchards, vineyards and centennial trees. Whether you are riding along the river or through picturesque villages, l’Îles d’OrlĂ©ans is a paradise for any Spyder rider.

For Ronald Hurner and his group, the day did not end there, as their final destination was La Malbaie in the beautiful Charlevoix region. Undoubtedly, Ron and his fellow travelers know all there is to know about beautiful sceneries.

Hi to you Tom Dorcey, Ronald Hurner and all the gang from Wisconsin.

Your visit was too short; you should come back! So, see you soon!!

It was a pleasure to meet you Rene. You did a great job leading our group around your beautiful city and the island. I thoroughly enjoyed that day. The duck pie was an added treat. Thank you for spending your day with us.
